  • Good Bye Midwest

I've officially begun my job search to move out of the Midwest. I'm hoping to live in the real city limits of San Fransisco, of which the backup plan is to crash at my Aunt's place until I find a job, but if I find a job in the burbs I guess that's ok. I hate the suburbs and all products from it hahah. Other options include Canada or some other socialist country. We'll see!

you forget that "suburbs" here aren't like suburbs there. this is the bay area...not really san francisco and its suburbs. oakland, berkeley, san jose...all of it is pretty cool and urban, not like random suburbs like romeoville (rhea...) haha

your friend ^ is pretty accurate about the 'suburbs' in california, specifically the ones surrounding sf. definitely a completely different look & vibe than what we're used to in chicago and it's own version of the suburbs.

but yay! perhaps i'll be seeing you around the bay area sometime after graduation.....[and maybe jeff too?! haha].

p.s. phill, when are we going to boystown?!

Australia! Haha, I'm just kidding... kinda. That would be sweet because then I can say: "Yeah, I have a friend that lives in Australia" :)

    I wish...

i admire you sooo much for the simple fact that you are so ambitious and independent.
i need to be more like you.

as for school, i got into st. matthew's university school of medicine in the cayman islands. it's a mere total of 4+ hour flight, which is nothing compared to you being half way across the world in japan, but i'm scared.

good luck with job hunting. the real world scares me. so, i guess i'm lucky i still have so much schooling to do.

gosh, i sound like a pansy.
